Rethinking Social Entrepreneurship

General Assembly + The Next Web

Thursday, December 15th from 7:30 - 9:30 pm. Complimentary beer and wine will be served.

Use the hashtag #rethinksocial to be a part of the conversation.

Social entrepreneurship. What does it mean? How are social entrepreneurs different than regular entrepreneurs? What are the unique challenges they face? Where are they going?

This roundtable discussion will focus on these and related issues. Featuring leaders from New York City's startup, nonprofit, and investment communities, and hosted by General Assembly and The Next Web, the discussion will be moderated by Chris Bliss, co-founder of Good Karma. Don't miss it.

Panel members include Matthew Klein from the Blue Ridge Foundation, Oliver Hurst-Hiller from DonorsChoose, Matt Cohen from City Light Capital, Susan McPherson from Fenton, and Rachael Chong from Catchafire.
